China Challenge
China Challenge, a reality/adventure four part television series, featured two mixed teams of British and Chinese students competing in a series of challenges against the clock. The series was predominantly made in Chinese, and both teams were bi-lingua. In each of the Challenges the teams were advised and mentored by experts from leading international companies – Ogilvy Mather, BMPDDB, Arup, Scott Wilson, Balfour Beatty, B&Q and the internationally renowned Inchbald School of Design. After a keenly fought contest the victorious team walked away with a cheque for £20,000.
China Challenge was the first British made programme specifically for the Chinese market, to secure a national broadcast with CCTV (China Central Television). The series was aired over the Christmas period on both CCTV 1 and 3 to a first run audience of over 50 million people.
